Often, yes. An exotic car with 30,000 miles can be a sound purchase, and sometimes a safer one than a low-mileage example of the same model. The odometer tells you how far the car has gone. It does not tell you how the car was looked after, and on a high-strung exotic, that is what decides what you spend next.
Exotic car mileage still matters. Lower-mileage cars usually carry higher asking prices, and more miles mean more wear on the parts that wear with use. The real question is whether those miles came with the care to match.
Exotic service schedules run on time as well as distance. HR Owen, the London Lamborghini dealer, lists Huracán and Aventador service intervals as every 9,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. On that kind of schedule, a car driven 3,000 miles a year is due for service every 12 months, long before it reaches 9,000 miles.
A well-kept 30,000-mile car should therefore come with a thick, dated file: invoices that climb in mileage order, routine services at sensible intervals, and the larger jobs the manufacturer calls for along the way. A car that is driven regularly also tends to show its problems early, when they can be put right, instead of keeping them hidden in a garage.

A car that has barely moved has not necessarily been maintained. If annual services were skipped because “it hardly gets driven,” anything that ages with time may be overdue whatever the odometer says, including fluids, tires, rubber seals and hoses, and the battery. Long periods of disuse cause problems of their own, which our exotic car care guide covers in detail.
That does not make every low-mileage car a bad buy. A properly stored, annually serviced car with few miles is exactly what many buyers want, and they pay for it. The risk is a low-mileage car with a thin file, priced as though its maintenance were up to date.
Buy the car, not the number. Exotic car mileage is one input among several, and a regularly driven, fully documented exotic at 30,000 miles that passes a specialist inspection can be a better purchase than a low-mileage car with gaps in its history. Pay extra for low miles only when the records and the inspection show the time-based maintenance was done as well.
